You have the best smile ever!

First Christmas

You celebrated your very first Christmas. You had no idea it was Christmas but it wouldn't have been the same for us without you.

You played the role of baby Jesus when we read the bible story and acted it out.

You were on your best behavior and actually slept most of Christmas day- you are growing a ton! We all enjoyed your smiles and sweet spirit. YOU melt our hearts!

11 weeks old

You love to lay on your back and kick your legs and wave your arms all over. You are learning how to move that little body. You also try so hard to get your hands in your mouth and suck on them. It is the cutest little sound!

10 Weeks

You are starting to coo. We love to see your little mouth and how hard you try to make little sounds. You are too cute!

9 weeks old

Today you are 9 weeks old. I took you to your "Two Month" dr. check up. Dr. Lindgren laughed at how fast you are growing. He couldn't believe the chub on your thighs and chin. You are 12 1/2 pounds and 24 inches. You are the 64% for weight and 78% for height You are growing like a weed and it looks like you will be a tall one with your brother Luka. When you got your shots you cried so hard. Your little face turned beat red and you seemed so offended. I felt awful- so did your two big brothers. Cooper started singing his sweet "home made" songs that he loves to sing to you when you are upset. Luka patted you and said "oh baby, oh baby". It really melted my heart to see the brotherly love!

2 months old

Today you are two months old! The time seems to be flying by- except when it is 3 am HA HA. You are one big boy- you already weigh about 13 pounds. You love to smile, especially in the morning when you have slept good through the night- speaking of which you sleep a good 6 hour stretch now. So- I am only up with you once during the night. Thank you! I love your dimple in your chin and your cute little noises. You are starting to concentrate on your sounds and you say "goo and aww" so cute. We feel like you have been a part of our family forever- we love you so much!

8 weeks old

You are now in size two diapers and growing out of all of your 0-3 month clothes!

First Thanksgiving

We spent YOUR first Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. Everyone loved holding you and watching you. You met your aunt Chalyse for the first time. I know you will grow to love her as much as your sister and brothers do. Next year at Thanksgiving you will be able to taste all the yummy food!

7 weeks old

Today you went to church for the first time. I must say you are quite the ladies man! You weigh 11 1/2 pounds already. Your cheeks are getting so chubby. We fall more in love with you every day!

Hello, My name is Cannon and I am 6 weeks old.


My mom has the camera in my face all day long so today I think I will do something different for her other than sleep.

6 weeks old

You will be 6 weeks old tomorrow! We love you so much. Especially those scrumptious lips and the way you make "singing" noises when you sleep. You had your first "diaper" blow out yesterday all over your aunt Julie. Way to go! HA

Meeting Great Grandpa

Yesterday you got to meet your Great Grandpa Clark for the first time. He thought you were pretty cool. You both looked at each other for a long time. You gazed at him like you knew him. Maybe great grandma told you all about him when you were in heaven just a few weeks ago.

5 weeks old

One Month Old

Cannon- time is flying by (sometimes it doesn't feel like it at 3 am:) but seriously the days are zooming by. You are one month old already. When I think that you are growing so quickly and I will never get these days back I cry. I seriously cry and try to hold you so tight- hoping so slow down the growing process. Trying to memorize every snuggle, the softness of your cheeks in my neck, the way you hum when you are sleeping, the gulping sound you make when you eat. I know it is all going to disappear before I know it and I want it etched into my mind and heart forever.

Significant things to remember at one month:
*You are starting to be awake more often
*You go four to four and a half hours at night now between feedings (thank you very much)
*You are starting to see well and will stare at things with great interest
* You are trying so hard to smile- today you gave me the most pleasant look and my heart melted
*It feels like you have been a member of our family forever- I knew you belonged here!
*Luka loves to kiss you and pet you and say "hi, my baby"
*Cooper likes to hold you and sing to you. He is very proud of his ability to sooth you with his groovy singing
*Savannah likes to burp you, to snuggle with you and mother you

*We can't get enough of you!

4 weeks old

You are 4 weeks old today! The time seems to drag when it is 3 am and I am feeding you but when I look at the big picture the days are FLYING by. I know that the tiny baby stage goes by so quickly so I am trying to enjoy every moment of you.

You are starting to be a awake a little more. Your eyes are clearing up and you are starting to look right at us and study our faces. A few times you have tried so hard to smile. I know that smiles are coming soon.

You are out of new born diapers and now wearing size one. You love to have your bath if it is nice and warm but you still scream your head off when you get all lotioned up.

I am so lucky to be your mom!
