42 weeks

(Cannon with Mommy and Daddy at Mesa Falls in Island Park Idaho)

The last week was so busy. First- you had your first bout with the stomach flu. NO FUN! Poor little man- you threw up and and just laid on your daddy's tummy all day. I felt so sad for you. But you were a trooper and snapped out of it pretty quickly. Second- You are standing all by yourself now. You think you are big stuff and.... you even took your first step to me. I predict you will be walking before we know it. We went on a fun trip to Yellowstone and you loved it. You loved being outside and you found the bears very interesting!

41 weeks old

Cannon- you have two older brothers and an Older sister. As you grow and learn and create your life I hope you cling to them. I pray that the 4 of you will be so close- that you will realize that your spirits knew each other long before this earth life. That you were meant to support, love and uplift each other through the marathon of life. You have made each of them so happy and proud to be your older siblings!

OH- and you got your second tooth this week. Your little smile looks so cute!

9 months old

9 months already. That is how long I was pregnant with you! Let me tell you that the last 9 months have been so much better than the 9 before that! At your Dr. check up you hadn't gained any weight- so now you are the 74% for that. I wasn't surprised being that you crawl and walk around the furniture all day long. You are burning a million calories with your busy little self. Next you have grown in length a lot. You measured in the 93% for that. We will see if you stay a tall one!

You are eating all kinds of food now. I shared an icy lemonade with you the other day and you would say mmmmm the whole time you ate it and scream for more with each bite! You love to wave hello. You climb up the stairs so fast! You jabber and growl all the time. We think you might walk before you are one with the speed you move around furniture. We love you!

First 4th of July

It was your first experience with fireworks! You were a little scared. You definitely wanted daddy to hold you and protect you but you were also very curious. You loved watching your brothers and sister with the sparklers.

Cannon- I am so grateful that we were blessed to be born in the USA. We are fortunate to experience freedom and peace. We live in an amazing place and experience bounteous blessing daily. I hope you will always appreciate the land you were born in.
